Gig Harbor is located in Pierce County on Washington's western side. The city is home to 6,465 residents and is a gateway to the Olympic Peninsula. Jerisich Park often hosts city events and fairs, including the holiday tree lighting ceremony, musical concerts, art festivals and more. The Gig Harbor City Park, also known as Crescent Creek Park sits by a stream and provides all sorts of activities and is accommodating for families and large groups. The park features a children's play area with modern equipment, a baseball diamond, a basketball court, several tennis courts, picnic areas with stoves, and a field for casual sports and games.
